The Association of Nigerian Exporters (ANE) is a statutory member of the Governing Board of the NEPC (NEPC Act 64, 1992). It is therefore part of the policy makers of the NEPC.
The NEPC and ANE are like Siamese twins destined to work together for the development of non-oil export in Nigeria.
In other words, the NEPC is in the public sector what ANE is in the private sector.
Both have the mandate to promote programmes under bilateral and multilateral agreements of Nigeria like African Growth & Opportunity Act (AGOA) and Export Trading House Scheme.
